Philosophy
“I started out doing case management in the inner city of Chicago for at-risk youth with histories of trauma and neglect. During this time, I realized that I wanted to impact people’s lives on a deeper level more then just helping them find a job or an apartment. I have come to understand that these youth as well as others I have treated in my career can face and overcome not only external, but internal roadblocks rooted in internal strife and conflict. I believe that my down-to-earth and energetic way of communicating helps facilitate a collaborative therapeutic relationship built on trust and empathy. My greatest joy is witnessing children, adults and families achieve their goals by making positive changes.”
