Philosophy
“I am a
strength based therapist and enjoy helping clients see challenges as
opportunities and discover hidden resources within themselves. By
gaining additional perspectives and resources, an individual creates a
stronger self that leads to healthier and more fulfilling relationships.
Assisting clients in identifying their potential and strengths is key in
setting goals and measuring individual success. My approach to helping a
client achieve strength and change is client-centered, collaborative,
and systemic.”
Areas of Expertise
Dr. Trueblood has particular expertise in grief and loss having spent
over 15 years in hospice as a social worker and grief counselor. Dr.
Trueblood provides assessment and treatment for children, adolescents,
and adults. Areas of interest and experience in both children and adults
include ADHD and behavioral problems, mood and anxiety disorders,
child/parent relationship issues, eating disorders, oppositional defiant
disorder, autism spectrum disorders, sexual abuse/trauma, and marital
concerns.

Family and Personal Interests
Dr. Trueblood is married and has two daughters with the oldest having
autism. Dr. Trueblood enjoys gardening, running, spending time with
family and friends, and watching her youngest play sports.
